About the Editor-in-Chief
Primington Magazine is led by Editor-in-Chief Alisha M. Thorpe, whose career spans more than two decades in fashion, beauty, and creative direction.
Alisha began her journey over 20 years ago as a fashion editor and freelance fashion stylist, working closely with women to shape personal style through a refined, intuitive lens. Long before personal branding became a cultural conversation, she understood that style was deeply personal—rooted in confidence, identity, and season of life.
That philosophy led her into entrepreneurship, where she opened and built a thriving salon in the heart of Birmingham. What began as a beauty destination became a gathering place—where women came not only for services, but for conversation. Life updates. Confessions. Laughter. Quiet moments. Big dreams. Hard seasons.
Primington Magazine was born from that same energy.
