I have always loved Restoration Hardware. In fact, our home has at least one piece in nearly every room. Because of that, the RH aesthetic — warm woods, sculptural lighting, layered neutrals — feels familiar to me. It’s the visual language I return to again and again.
So naturally, when I heard the Birmingham gallery would include its signature rooftop restaurant, I wanted to see it firsthand.

From the moment I walked through the doors, the gallery felt immersive. Chandeliers hung dramatically overhead, yet nothing felt excessive. Meanwhile, the debut of their signature warm browns grounded the space in depth and richness. Every room felt curated. Thoughtful. Cinematic.
Before dinner, we wandered slowly through the floors. As a result, my mental wish list grew significantly longer.

Eventually, it was time for our rooftop reservation.
The elevator ride felt symbolic — almost like a transition from retail to ritual. When the doors opened, natural light poured in. Olive trees softened the space. Overhead, chandeliers glowed warmly against limestone tones.

The Experience
Admittedly, I hoped this wouldn’t be just another beautifully designed restaurant with average food.
Thankfully, it wasn’t.
We began with the heirloom burrata — fresh, creamy, and perfectly balanced. For lunch, I chose the RH Burger with fries, while my husband selected the lamb chops with potatoes and asparagus.
The moment he took his first bite, he paused. Then he looked up and said, “This is very good. I mean, very good.”
And honestly, I agreed.
Everything was thoughtfully plated. Moreover, the flavors were rich without feeling heavy. Although the setting is elevated, the food remains comforting rather than overly formal. That balance is what makes the experience memorable.
